Welsh business grants rise
Business grants to Welsh businesses rose to a seven-year high of £139 million last year. First minister Rhodri Morgan said it was "hard evidence" that the assembly's economic development strategy was on track.
However, local councils in Wales have rejected a "buy Welsh" policy put forward by the Welsh Development Agency as unworkable.
