Police officers investigating the delivery of toxic parcels sent to Cherie Blair and Lib Dem MSP Mike Rumbles were yesterday examining two other suspect packages.

The new parcels were said to have been sent to "prominent people", although the Metropolitan Police refused to disclose who they were.

Culture secretary Tessa Jowell is reported to be one recipient.
