Government may face Railtrack's Paddington rail crash fines

The Health and Safety Executive is to bring forward corporate safety charges against Railtrack and Thames Trains following the Paddington rail crash in which 31 people died. With Railtrack in administration the government could be set to foot a multi-million bill for the failed company following the health and safety prosecution.
