A NOP poll has found that two thirds of voters consider there to be more pressing matters for parliament than a ban on fox-hunting.

However, while 68 per cent of those questioned considered other policies more important, 67 per cent supported a ban.

A "third way" option to regulate hunts was supported by 47 per cent of respondents.
