Speaking in the Commons yesterday, sports minister Richard Caborn pledged to discuss with lottery operators Camelot the unclaimed prize fund of £455 million.

Conservative backbencher Sir Teddy Taylor called for an inquiry into the matter during culture questions, however a request will instead be made by the minister for signs to be put in shops about the prize money.
