Europe's employment commissioner has accused UK employers of scaremongering over Brussels labour market regulations.

In an FT interview, Anna Diamantopoulou, the European commissioner for employment and social affairs, charged British bosses with treating the EU as "a legal terrorist... even a business terrorist".
