A close trade union ally of Tony Blair has attacked the TUC for holding talks with the Tories. Sir Ken Jackson threatened that his union Amicus could withdraw its £2 million a year annual affiliation to the TUC following a planned meeting between union chief John Monks and senior Tory frontbenchers.
