Sinn Fein take up Westminster offices
Four Sinn Fein MPs arrived at Westminster to take up their offices in the House of Commons yesterday - a move that has generated angry press coverage in some newspapers.
"Sickening," runs the Mail front page whilst the Telegraph says: "Even now, after five years of concessions, the government's readiness to jump through republican hoops still has the power to shock."
Led by party president Gerry Adams, the four MPs visited Tony Blair in Downing Street to discuss the situation in Northern Ireland. They then moved onto the Commons where they settled into their new offices.
