Political parties 'biased against women MPs'
The Equal Opportunities Commission has published research revealing discrimination against women across the political parties.
A MORI survey of parliamentary candidates for the equality watchdog found that 81 per cent of Conservative women and 60 per cent of Labour women agreed that their party's selection committees displayed a pro-male bias compared to a third of Lib Dem and a quarter of SNP and Plaid Cymru women.
