Cabinet split over Tanzanian air defence system
The cabinet is said to be split over plans which would see BAE selling a £28 million air defence system to Tanzania. Whilst Downing Street is backing the plans, Gordon Brown and Clare Short are said to be bitterly opposed to the project.
