Driverless tube trains planned
London Underground is planning to introduce driverless trains to improve efficiency on some of the capital's busiest tube lines. No Person Operation (Nopo) is planning the new trains for an upgraded Victoria line in 2008 with drivers to be retrained as "train captains", checking tickets, security and advising passengers.
