Malaysian premier sparks anger with gay jibe

The Foreign Office was involved in a diplomatic spat with Malaysia yesterday after the country's premier said he would "throw out" any homosexual minister who visited the country with his "boyfriend". The remarks were seen as a calculated attack on Ben Bradshaw, the openly-gay minister with responsibility for south-east Asia.
