Peter Mandelson has received financial aid to help him campaign for government aid and political devolution for the north of England.

The £35,000 grant from the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust will assist Mandelson's research into what he believes "is a gap between north and south in entrepreneurial activity, research and development and business start ups".
