Lib Dems to break with Blair over PR
Formal links between the government and the Liberal Democrats are to be ended after four years, Tony Blair and Charles Kennedy will say today.
The formal link is being broken after the joint cabinet committee, set up to deal with constitutional isses, fell into disuse after meeting just twice in the two years after Kennedy became Lib Dem leader.
