Britons told to leave Pakistan

Britons have been told to leave Pakistan following fears that they could be singled out by Islamic fundamentalists.

Opinion remains divided within Pakistan over the last week's events despite the decision by President Musharraff to back any US military action against neighbouring Afghanistan.

It is suggested today that President Bush threatened to destroy Pakistan's nuclear capabilities unless it co-operated with strikes against Bid Laden.
