Archie Norman has criticised both Ken Clarke and Iain Duncan Smith for failing to address the issues required to make the Tories electable again. He said both contenders were behaving as if the "last four years didn't exist".

Three Tory shadow cabinet members have today declared their support for Iain Duncan Smith.

Liam Fox, David Heathcoat Amory and Oliver Letwin said they believe Duncan Smith will "stop the steady erosion of our powers of self government".
