Welsh assembly puts building on hold

Members of the Welsh assembly have voted to put the plans for its new building on hold amid fears of rising costs and serious construction problems. The assembly also sacked Lord Rogers as the architect of the project which looks set to cost more than twice the £27 million initially estimated.
