Jobs losses as £4.5 bn order comes in
Delays in orders and rivalry between shipbuilding companies will mean a short term job reduction of 1,150 jobs in the industry.
The news came as the government announced a £4.5 billion order for six Type 45 destroyers for the Royal Navy which will sustain nearly 3,000 jobs .
