Britain told to lift booze curbs

The British government has been told to lift the curbs it is imposing on the amount of alcohol and cigarettes than can be brought into Britain from across the Channel. The European Commission has said that UK Customs staff must take a less rigid approach to policing the import of goods bought on "booze cruises".
