PM attacks unfair PR
Tony Blair has further distanced himself from electoral reform with a robust attack on proportional representation.
Speaking to young Labour supporters the PM described PR as unfair giving "disproportionate power" to smaller parties.
Labour backed away from a 1997 manifesto promise to hold a referendum on electoral reform and has not renewed the pledge. The comments will be a set-back for the Liberal Democrats.
