Queens speech: Hunt ban gets go-ahead

Animal welfare lobbyists have been told by the Downing Street, chief of staff, Jonathan Powell, that a hunting ban will go-ahead.

Powell told the lobbyists that the "middle way is dead" and that Labour's landslide majority will see an outright ban on hunting with hounds pushed through, reveals Marie Woolf in the Independent.
