Straw avoids 'ethical' references
New foreign secretary Jack Straw will not be caught uttering the phrase "ethical" in relation to the government's foreign policy, reports the FT.
Straw is said to have told colleagues he will be judged on his actions rather than his words.
Controversial arms sales led to wiodespread criticism of Robin Cook's "ethical dimension" to his foreign policy.
