Labour plots against Portillo
Labour is set to step up attacks on shadow chancellor, Michael Portillo, today reports the Times.
Millbank's election team is said to have identified William Hague as Labour's "greatest electoral asset" and will move to make Portillo "part of the Tories' problem rather than the solution". Labour is concerned that Portillo "has the political charisma Mr Hague lacks", claims the paper.
