London faces two days of chaos

Londoners face a 24-hour tube strike on May 2 - directly following the widely expected disruption of May day demonstrations in the capital. The strike is third in three months and takes place on the day the government select preferred bidders for its controversial part-privatisation of London's underground.

London mayor, Ken Livingstone, has backed a tough "zero tolerance" policing plan for the May day protests.
