Return to gridlock expected as fuel demonstrations are planned
Demonstrations are being planned by the "People's fuel lobby" next month after it has been claimed that recent fuel price increases have cancelled out changes made in the March budget.
The announcement that Exxon Mobil made profits in the first three months of this year equalling £28,000 per minute has done little to appease the group.
The lobby is also set to gain new members, as the representatives of smaller petrol stations, the Petrol Retailers Association, claimed that their members were considering joining the picket lines.
