MPs on the Commons international development committee have slammed the government's "uncoordinated and piecemeal" efforts to combat money-laundering and third world corruption.

The MPs' investigation into corruption in the third world calls for more efforts to bring prosecutions for money-laundering in UK courts and legislation to make it easier for the government to seize suspicious assets from overseas.
