Male Law Lords challenged on rape ruling
Later this week the Law Lords will consider an intervention from the Fawcett Society challenging whether an all-male panel should decide if a woman's previous sexual history should be admissible evidence during rape trials.
The Society is questioning whether a decision made entirely by men would undermine faith in the criminal justice system and put Britain in breach of its international obligations.
