Hague criticised over speech fees
William Hague suffered a rebuke from parliament's standards watchdog Elizabeth Filkin yesterday, after complaints about his entry in the register of members' interests said he paid fees for speeches into a charitable foundation which did not exist.
It was accepted that he had not intended to mislead anyone.
