The government is planning an assault on "the cosy, insulated world" of lawyers, accountants and architects, after an Office of Fair Trading report, due out next week, found evidence of price-fixing and cartels. The attack on "fat cat" professionals is seen as a pre-election appeal to Labour's core voters.
