Police warn on impact of hunting ban

Police chiefs have warned the government that a possible ban on hunting with dogs would harm the relationship between their officers and rural communities.

They have also advised that enforcing the ban would stretch already limited resources.

It is claimed that Tony Blair may defy his party by allowing fox hunts to continue with licences issued by an independent body.
