Voters dislike big money party donations
A MORI poll claims most voters believe it is undesirable for political parties to become dependent on big donations from wealthy backers.
The poll for the Telegraph followed the announcement of the biggest-ever donation of £5 million to the Tory party by businessman Stuart Wheeler.
The news comes as it emerged that IG Index, Wheeler's spread betting firm, is predicting that Tony Blair will win the election with a majority of between 80 and 100 seats.
