Global warming twice as bad as previously thought

A report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will warn that by 2100 global temperatures could have risen by as much as eight degrees, over twice the previous estimate of three degrees. The impacts of such a large rise would be immense, with melting icecaps, rising sea levels and radical weather changes.
