Monks warns of euro pressure

Following Tony Blair's moves to play down expectations of a referendum on the euro in the next parliament the Telegraph publishes an article by TUC general secretary, John Monks, in which he argues that: "Pressure will soon mount after an election and it will not just be trade unionists and the usual euro suspects that will be expecting clear leadership from the government. The world's boardrooms will also want to know where the UK stands. Some decisions cannot simply be postponed for ever, for that would be the same as saying no."
