I was grateful for the time that Trevor Campbell Davies and yourself gave Tim Boswell and myself last Friday.
Following that meeting, I enclose a copy of a letter that I am sending to Jane Betts; a copy of a letter I am sending to Keith Mitchell, as Leader of Oxfordshire County Council.; and a draft of a letter that I am proposing to send to every General Practitioner in my constituency.
As we discussed on Friday, I look forward to receiving from Trevor a draft of a letter that I can send to you to establish the setting up of such a Review. I think the terms of reference of such a Review need to be clear and I think the process needs to be as transparent as possible and it also needs to be clear whether it be to professionals within the NHS system locally or to members of the general public how they can contribute to the Review, it needs to be clear as to who is going to be undertaking the Review, to whom the Review will report; who will make the ultimate decisions and, importantly, within what time frame all of this will take place.
