Peer's expenses suspension expires today
By Ned Simons - 21st February 2011

A Labour donor has been readmitted to the House of Lords following a four month suspension for abuse of his expenses.
Lord Paul was banned from the House of Lords in October after he was found to have wrongly claimed a flat occupied by one of his employees was his main home.
The billionaire peer has donated large sums of money to Labour but resigned from the party following his suspension.
He also quit his post as a deputy speaker of the House of Lords after the revelations about his expenses claims.
Lord Paul repaid £41,982 in 2009 in relation to his claims.
