Message to MPs

Thank you for visiting the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association ePolitix microsite.

It's possible that your personal interest in us has been piqued by an encounter you've had with a 'chugger', or maybe a complaint someone has made to you.

Maybe you are visiting here because someone has alleged that 'the charity doesn't see a penny of your donation for the first 12 months', or someone has complained that they have 'a right to walk down the high street without being accosted by a chugger'.

We have tried to address these issues on our website, so you might be interested in taking a look at them here.

However, if you do have issues and concerns about F2F fundraising, we'd much rather talk to you directly.

To set up a meeting with the PFRA to discuss absolutely any aspect of our work, or face-to-face fundraising generally, contact:

This ePolitix site contains mainly factual information about F2F fundraising, such as the number of donors recruited each year, how much they give, and details of the regulatory regime. There is also a summary of best practice requirements.

What we haven't got on this site, however, are in-depth discussions about the nature of F2F and how charities defend themselves against some of the more common criticisms of, or objections to, their use of it.

There is a wealth of greater detail on our website – www.pfra.org.uk.
