Events

National Care Leavers’ Week happens because local authorities throughout the UK have incorporated it into their annual calendar. All over the country achievements are being celebrated, new projects or initiatives launched and care leavers being given special consideration and thought. Whatever changes happen at a central policy level, it is through locally delivered strategies and services that real differences to care leavers can be achieved, and local managers, care leaving teams and Corporate parent groups that make the biggest difference in the lives of their care leavers.
