Community Involvement

The Griffin Awards

The Griffin Awards, now in their seventh year, seek to recognise and promote the achievements of local charities and organisations in the communities of Bedfordshire and Cheshire, where GM's UK operations are primarily focused.
This year, the Awards contributed £15,000 in prize money at each location, as well as the use of a loan vehicle in each of the two counties. Since these popular and high profile Awards were launched in the year 2000, a total of £180,000 has been awarded to worthy causes.

General Motors has a long history of supporting the local communities in which we work and is proud to support the remarkable and worthwhile work done by so many charities and organisations to enrich and develop the lives of the people living in those communities.
