How we can help
FTA is able to use its extensive knowledge of logistics across road, rail, sea and air to provide policy makers with reliable and accurate information.
We meet regularly with opinion formers and have built a reputation for sensible and constructive discussion on key transport issues. FTA brings the experience of about half of the UK HGV fleet, as well as over 90 per cent of freight moved by rail in the UK and over 70 per cent of visible exports.
FTA's members include manufacturers, retailers, logistics companies, hauliers and organisations in both public and private sectors. They are vital to the efficient distribution of goods and delivery of services throughout the UK.
Our aim is to inform the transport policy debate with our experience and understanding, and we are glad to provide briefing for Parliamentarians or Assembly Members either on issues or relating to the logistics sector in their constituency or region.
If you wish to find out more about our campaigns, or are interested in meeting FTA to discuss a particular issue, please contact Michael Webb, Public Affairs Manager on 01892 552297 or email mwebb@fta.co.uk.
