The Civic Trust has joined the RSPB, CPRE, Friends of the Earth, Woodlands Trust, Ramblers Association, Wildlife Trust, Transport 2000 and the RTPI to form a coalition to campaign against the recommendations of the Barker Review. In 2003 The Civic Trust was awarded a three year funding grant from the DCLG to look at good practice in managing and developing the evening and night time economy. Our research resulted in the NightVision report which contains recommendations for local authorities to manage their night time economies. The Civic Trust is now working with 4 local authorities on pilot schemes to put these recommendations into practice.
