Our divisions cover England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as specialist branches representing the whole spectrum of species and specialities.

We can help with

  • public health, animal health and animal welfare
  • pets and wild animals
  • food producing animals, such as cattle, poultry, sheep, pigs, goats and fish
  • vets in industry, teaching/research, government, army and in general practice
  • horses and greyhounds

We can also assist with issues affecting veterinary nurses and veterinary practice managers who are affiliated to the BVA.

Our main representatives and spokespeople are the BVA Officers : BVA President, BVA Past President and BVA President-Elect.

We also house the veterinary profession’s own education and grant giving charity, the BVA Animal Welfare Foundation.
