Government Affairs
The BCSC Government Affairs Committee brings together retailers, developers, investors, consultants and public sector representatives to monitor and respond to changes in legislation and regulation affecting the retail property industry. The Committee works with BCSC’s public affairs consultants Morgan Allen Moore to draw on the wealth of research conducted by BCSC and the views of its membership to deliver clear messages to government and other agencies on behalf of the industry.
The BCSC MP portal is an online resource offering up to date information on all that’s happening in the retail property industry: pipeline projects, ongoing developments, BCSC responses to Government consultations and events.
The Westminster Brief is a quarterly publication outlining the latest news and events from BCSC. The brief also includes BCSC responses to Government policy and profiles key findings from BCSC research and publications relevant to public sector representatives and stakeholders. The brief can be accessed on line via the MP portal at www.bcsc.org.uk/mpportal
