Voice Cymru welcomes behaviour and attendance action plan
30 March 2009
Voice: the union for education professionals has welcomed the behaviour and attendance action plan, Behaving and Attending, launched today (30 March 2009) by the Welsh Assembly Government.
Director for Wales Nick Griffin said: "This is a ground-breaking and comprehensive report.
"Poor behaviour and poor attendance are serious problems that affect school morale and damage the life chances not only of those pupils who cause disruption or fail to attend, but also of pupils who want to attend and work.
"I only hope that the necessary funding will be made available to put the many excellent recommendations into action."
