UNSECURED
September 07, 2005
Unsecured, a monologue telling of those whose lives have been badly affected by debt will be broadcast today (September 7) on the Community Channel.
Unsecured was originally written by Gregory Burke for the National Theatre Headlines series and performed last year. It was based on the experiences of a counsellor from Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) who had emerged from debt.
Now it has been filmed for the Community Channel, with Sarah Mowat starring as the counsellor and directed by Angela Phillips. It runs 15 minutes and in the words of the Banking Ombudsman "puts a human face on the work".
