Tube improvements - LONDON FIRST response
24 April 2007
Commenting on this morning’s announcement by the Mayor to step up improvements to the Tube, Baroness Jo Valentine, Chief Executive of influential business organisation London First, said:
“Today’s announcement is great news: good for London’s prosperity as well as commuters’ sanity!
“Of course, it mustn’t stop here. The next phase of improvements will mean more room for the crushed commuter. The Chancellor must continue to fund these works to safeguard London’s future growth and prosperity.”
