Press Release
The answer’s on the back of the bus!
05 – March - 2007
United Christian Broadcasters Limited (UCB), one of the UK’s leading Christian media organisations, based in Stoke-on-Trent, launches local promotional campaign for new website.
February saw the launch of a city-wide campaign to promote UCB’s latest website LookingforGod.com, which seeks to tell people about Jesus. In and around Stoke-on-Trent a number of billboards and bus advertisements are being seen by people who are hurting, lost or alone. Many of these people do not feel confident stepping inside a church, or do not know where to go with their questions; this website can help them find answers from the convenience of their homes or offices.
The website has already been very effective prior to any real advertising, attracting over 100,000 visits in a little over six months! Understandably, then, UCB is extremely excited at the thought of how many more people can see and hear about Jesus’ love for them now that the campaign has begun! In fact, since the billboards went up just over two weeks ago, there has already been a 68% increase in the number of unique visits to the site from the Stoke-on-Trent area! From 5th March panels with the LookingforGod? advert can be seen on buses around the city also.
If a visitor to the site decides he or she wants to become a Christian, or if they just want to know more about the Christian faith, they are given advice on what to do next. UCB and Saltbox have partnered with ten churches in the Stoke-on-Trent area; local visitors to the site requesting further contact will be put in touch with someone from one of these churches.

These churches, who have their own LookingforGod.com banners displayed, will invite that person in and help them find out more about Jesus Christ.
