The Chartered Institute of Marketing has launched its latest Training Update to support the sales profession during the current challenging economic climate.
This latest update includes more than 30 training and qualification programmes designed to help every level of sales professional and can be tailored to help drive specific performance sales objectives. The courses have been developed to provide practical guidance that can be used immediately to help selling in the downturn.
David Thorp, director of research and professional development at The Chartered Institute of Marketing said; "In today’s tough, competitive markets businesses are truly realising the impact successful sales teams can have on the bottom line. And research shows that businesses are far more likely to survive and recover from a downturn if they continue to train their staff.
"Our experience of working with sales and marketing teams, combined with our expert faculty of sales trainers, means we are ideally placed to help businesses improve sales performance. Our new directory of courses aims to help our clients find and win new customers, expand key accounts and to get the very most from their sales teams during this crucial period."
The Institute currently offers some 150 short training courses across marketing, sales and business skills. These range from foundation courses for non-marketing managers or those new to marketing, to masterclasses for experienced and senior professionals looking to gain a deeper understanding of a particular subject. Built around twelve core subject areas, marketing courses are mapped to The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s professional marketing standards.
With such a wide range of training courses to choose from, delegates are sure to find something to leave them inspired, better-informed and equipped to meet today’s challenges.
