Star Studded Cast For ICR Christmas Carol Concert

Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland President Peter Offer joined a star studded cast for a memorable Carol Concert at the Royal Hospital Chelsea Chapel on Tuesday December 5th hosted by the Institute of Cancer Research. The ‘Carols from Chelsea A Celebration of Christmas’ evening was presented by Sir George Martin CBE and a wide ranging selection of readings were given by Patricia Routledge, Bernard Cribbins, Jane Asher, Anneka Rice, Gloria Hunniford, Martyn Lewis, David Poulteney and Peter Offer. The Choir of Christ Church Cathedral Oxford conducted by Stephen Darlington led the singing and soloists included Robert Meadmore and Emma Whiteley. The event raised more than £40,000 for the Institute.
