Stagecoach donates £100,000 to London bombings relief fund

Stagecoach Group plc confirmed today (11 July 2005) it is donating £100,000 to the London Bombings Relief Fund.
The fund has been set up by the Mayor of London in association with the British Red Cross following last week’s terrorist attacks.
Brian Souter, Chief Executive of Stagecoach Group, said: “These terrible events have touched all of our hearts and we applaud our drivers’ determination to continue serving the public. We all feel deeply for the victims’ families and what they are going through. We hope this donation will help provide some of the practical assistance they need now at this difficult time.”
Meanwhile, Barry Arnold, Managing Director of Stagecoach in London, today signed the Book of Condolence at City Hall on behalf of the company.
