July 1st 2006
Today Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) is launching its latest fundraising campaign, with the announcement of a partnership with Pendragon plc.
The launch of the partnership takes place at the RIBI President’s Handover Ceremony in the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The handover will see Peter L Offer take over the top role of the humanitarian service organisation for 2006 – 2007.
The partnership with Pendragon includes a preferential car purchase scheme for Rotarians and their families. For every car purchased a donation will be made to the Rotary Foundation. The scheme aims to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds over the next five years. The deal also includes sponsorship of a Jaguar car for President Peter Offer.
